Liikkuvan Arjen Design (2011 - 2013) created concepts and solutions for a better everyday mobility of pedestrians, cyclists and users of public transport in Helsinki and surrounding.
In cooperation with students of Metropolia University of Helsinki a wide range of design projects have been developed. |
With our project LIGHT THE NIGHT we geared up for the upcoming dark season in Finland.
Within three weeks our team of Spatial/ Interior and Industrial Design students got a workshop going in Helsinki on the public square Narinkkatori next to the bicycle center. Accompanied by an ambient trumpet performance by the finnish musician Jan Wälchli participants, young and old, made their own reflective accessories for bike, bags and clothing to be seen in the dark. The Bicycle Center supported the event with road safety tips and offered tools and service for repairing the bikes. |
